The
Comb-tank combines the roles of Tank-killer with
Short-range, Low-altitude Air-defence. It also mounts a
light auto-blaster cannon for self-defence and engaging
'soft' targets such as infantry. The 'SAM-2091 'Foxtrot' is guided by a phased array multiwave radar, supported by IR, radio-monitoring and optical arrays. It has OK performance but cannot reach high altitude targets. It also has only a very limited anti-missile capability. The Heavy Anti-tank missiles can destroy any known armour within only a few hits but have minimum range limitations and a slow rate of fire. |
