The standard IDC fire-support speeder uses a commercial hover-car chassis with a plate armour upper section protecting the two-man crew. The crew are separated with the driver forwards and the gunner aft in front of the weapons mounting.

The most common and preferred weapon is the 'Wombat' recoilless anti-tank rifle. This has a modest rate of fire and good firepower but for aiming and control purposes, is fixed onto the forward axis. This slows the units reaction time (relative to a rotating turret) because the whole vehicle has to align with the target.

There're however many possible variations on armament with various light missiles, grenade launchers and blaster-cannons used.

The unit is relatively simple to implement. It will test the 'must-align-with-target' coding.
